Delegates attended the traditional Great Blessing Ceremony of three villages of Tong Canh.

According to legend, the land of Phu Khoai Chau used to be a swampy, desolate place with a sparse population. Three brothers from An Canh village (now Chuong Duong commune, Hanoi city) came here to make a living. Seeing the fertile land, they reclaimed the land together and established a village, named An Canh. After many years of hard work, the population was dense and life was stable, they separated into three villages: An Canh Thuong, Phu Hoa (An Canh Trung) and An Canh Ha, collectively called Tong Canh.

To commemorate the merits of our ancestors and preserve cultural identity, every three years, on the 10th day of the 9th lunar month, the people of the three villages of Tong Canh hold a Great Blessing Ceremony, offering incense to the village's tutelary god, praying for favorable weather, national peace and prosperity, demonstrating the morality of "remembering the source of water" of today's descendants.

Maintaining the organization of the Great Fortune Festival not only promotes the fine traditions of the locality, strengthens the solidarity of the people of Trieu Viet Vuong and Khoai Chau communes, but also contributes to educating the pride of cultural and historical traditions for generations.

This year's traditional Great Blessing Festival of the three villages of Tong Canh takes place over three days, from October 29 to 31. After the incense offering and drum beating ceremony, the Great Blessing Festival takes place with many cultural, sacrificial and artistic activities, attracting a large number of locals and tourists to visit and worship.
