Major General Le Xuan Thuan, Commander of the 12th Corps, delivered the opening speech.

The command and staff exercise is organized to foster and improve the level of command organization, staff capacity, coordination between agencies in the organization, directing the implementation of defensive combat tasks; train the ability to apply principles and theories into practice of cadres at all levels, meet the requirements of training tasks, and be ready to fight in the new situation.

In his opening speech, Major General Le Xuan Thuan, Commander of the 12th Corps, emphasized: Command and staff training is a key content with practical significance in training work, contributing directly to improving the overall quality, command level, staff capacity and coordination ability between agencies and units. The Commander of the 12th Corps requested agencies and units to strictly grasp the instructions and orders from above; uphold the spirit of responsibility, be proactive in researching and handling situations close to reality; ensure absolute safety for people, weapons, equipment and facilities throughout the training process.

Delegates attended the opening ceremony of the one-sided, one-level command-staff exercise on the map.

According to the plan, the training period will take place from October 28 to 30, including the following contents: Assessing and evaluating the situation; building and deploying combat determination; organizing and coordinating command of forces and practicing handling combat situations on the map.

Through training, the Command and the Corps agencies continue to consolidate and improve their staff and combat command capabilities, contributing to building a strong and comprehensive "exemplary and typical" 12th Corps, meeting the mission requirements in the new period.
