The highlight of the festival is the Hanbok traditional costume experience area, where students can transform into Korean boys and girls in a classic space. At the event, a series of folk games such as “ddakji” (paper flipping), “paengi chigi” (spinning top), “gongginori” (stone throwing), or “tuho” (arrow throwing) with unique and attractive ways of playing attracted a large number of students to participate, creating a lively and joyful atmosphere throughout the campus.

The fact that Korean Language students prepare and organize the festival together is a meaningful activity, helping to spread the image of Korea. I hope that through this event, Vietnamese students will understand and love Korean culture more.”

Continuing that atmosphere, art performances such as K-pop covers and modern dances were meticulously invested in, bringing eye-catching performances. This was not only an opportunity for students to show their talent and creativity, but also a way for them to express their love and interest in Korean culture.

For many students, this is a special occasion to “ travel to Korea” right at school. Tran Ngoc Anh, a first-year student majoring in Korean Language, said: “I find the festival atmosphere today extremely vibrant and bustling, everyone is very active and enthusiastic. This is also a meaningful experience, helping Korean Language students gain more motivation and interest in the learning process.”

Not only a fun activity, the Korean Cultural Festival at Thang Long University is also a bridge to help Vietnamese students get closer to the diverse culture of Korea - one of the countries with great influence in the region.
