Floods in the Central region forced 17 trains to temporarily stop operating.

On the evening of October 28, information from Vietnam Railways Corporation said that due to the impact of floods in the Central region, train SE20 departing from Da Nang station on the same day had to temporarily stop operating.

Some other train brands organize passenger transport between Huong Thuy and Dong Ha stations by car.

As of the afternoon of October 28, the railway industry had transported 1,400 passengers by car from Dong Ha station to Huong Thuy station and vice versa, ensuring safety, and passengers continued their journey by train.

Along with that, the railway industry has served more than 1,000 main meals and nearly 1,000 side meals free of charge to passengers on affected trains.

On the afternoon of October 28, the railway industry transported 1,400 passengers by car from Dong Ha station to Huong Thuy station and vice versa.

Due to the impact of floods and rains, from October 27 to 29, the railway industry temporarily stopped running 17 passenger trains, including trains SE1/2, SE3/4 and SE19/20 on October 27; trains SE7/8, SE30 and HD1/2/3/4 on October 28; train HD1/2/3/4 on October 29.

The railway industry has notified passengers directly via SMS, Zalo system, social media, websites, etc. to let passengers know.

At the same time, train tickets will be returned to passengers of suspended trains without any charge. Passengers can return their train tickets at the stations within no more than 30 days from the date of departure stated on the ticket.
