Liquefied gas tanker truck exploded in Pho Noi A Industrial Park

On the evening of October 28, a tanker carrying liquefied petroleum gas entered the Pho Noi A Industrial Park in Hung Yen province. When it reached the entrance of the industrial park, the fuel tank of the truck got stuck in the height-limit barrier blocking the road.

According to initial assessment, after being stuck, due to great friction, the tanker exploded like a bomb. Liquefied gas was thrown several dozen meters away and caught fire fiercely. Many passersby were frightened, some motorcyclists nearby had to run away due to the pressure and heat of the explosion. A nearby truck caught fire.

The tanker truck was completely burned after the explosion.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force of Pho Noi area, Hung Yen province dispatched 3 fire trucks and officers to the scene to carry out professional measures. The fire was extinguished later.

Luckily, the tanker driver escaped and was taken to the hospital for emergency treatment, while the truck that caught fire only suffered minor damage.
