Hanoi Moi newspaper won second prize in the writing contest about advanced models.

At the ceremony, Deputy Head of the Central Emulation and Reward Committee Nguyen Anh Tuan affirmed that the contest is one of the creative ways to contribute to widely propagating the Party and State's policies on new rural construction and sustainable poverty reduction; at the same time, arousing the desire to contribute and spreading humane and good values in the community.

“Each article is a beautiful story, a small picture that contributes to creating a big picture of the patriotic emulation movement of our people in the period of innovation and integration. Emulation is patriotism and writing about advanced models is the way to sow good seeds, multiply trust and spread good values in society,” Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan emphasized.

After more than a month of launching, the Organizing Committee has received nearly 1,000 entries from all over the country with the enthusiastic participation of professional journalists, reporters, editors, and a large number of teachers, students, workers, farmers, medical staff and Vietnamese people living abroad. Through serious rounds of selection, the Jury has selected 33 best works to award prizes, including 1 First Prize, 2 Second Prizes, 3 Third Prizes, 5 Encouragement Prizes and other consolation prizes.

In particular, Hanoi Moi Newspaper was honored to win the Second Prize with the series of articles "Rural digital transformation: Breakthrough from Phuong Duc" by the group of authors Bach Thi Thanh and Nguyen Huu Tiep. The work vividly reflects the journey of innovation in thinking and working methods of the government and people of Phuong Duc commune, Hanoi city in building a smart new rural model, transforming production models associated with digital transformation.

Phuong Duc Commune, Hanoi City was also honored as "The most impressive advanced typical collective" - recognizing the locality's persistent efforts in promoting the patriotic emulation movement, accelerating digital transformation, developing sustainable agriculture , and improving people's lives.

This year’s contest was considered a success in both scale and depth of content. Many articles were carefully invested, containing sincere emotions, truly reflecting ordinary yet extraordinary people - those who are working day by day to change their homeland and country.

Deputy Head of the Central Emulation and Reward Committee Nguyen Anh Tuan expressed his hope that the writers honored today will continue to spread inspiration, discover more new examples, arouse the spirit of solidarity, the will to overcome difficulties and patriotism in every Vietnamese person, so that "no one is left behind" on the path of development.

In the coming time, the Central Emulation and Reward Committee will continue to coordinate with ministries, branches, localities and press agencies to innovate propaganda forms, replicate good models and effective methods, contributing to making emulation and reward work increasingly substantial, practical and in-depth.
