Quang Ninh won 6 awards in the Reading Culture Ambassador Contest.

On the morning of October 30, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a summary and award ceremony for the Reading Culture Ambassador Contest 2025. The event aimed to honor individuals and groups that have made positive contributions to spreading reading culture, while affirming the role of books in shaping personality, nurturing the soul and arousing aspirations for national development.

The 2025 Reading Culture Ambassador Contest organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism was launched in March 2025. The contest is an activity for students nationwide to arouse passion, promote reading movement among the young generation, encourage sharing, spread the love of reading, contribute to developing reading culture in schools, communities and building a learning society in Vietnam.

Through its activities, the Contest affirms the position and role of Vietnamese culture, especially reading culture, in contributing to spreading knowledge, improving people's intelligence, creativity, nurturing personality and soul, forming a healthy lifestyle, arousing patriotic traditions, national pride, and aspirations for developing a prosperous and happy country for the young generation.

At the Closing and Awarding Ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded 15 collective prizes and 140 individual prizes. Individual prizes include: 4 Outstanding Reading Culture Ambassadors, 8 first prizes, 16 second prizes, 32 third prizes, 64 consolation prizes and thematic prizes for the best entries.

Quang Ninh has 2 contestants winning first prize, 3 contestants winning consolation prizes and 1 contestant winning the topic prize "Good inspirational work sharing article" .

Contestant Phan Thi Thanh Tra, a student of Cam Pha High School and contestant Trieu Duc Duy, a Dao Thanh Y student of Troi Middle School, Hoanh Bo Ward were awarded first prize.

It is known that at the 2024 National Reading Culture Ambassador Contest, Trieu Duc Duy won both first prize and the special prize for the best short story promoting learning.
