Vietjet grows strongly, pays 20% dividend in shares

(Chinhphu.vn) - Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Company (HoSE: VJC) announced its business results for the third quarter of 2025 with strong growth, reaching 97% of the yearly plan, affirming its recovery and development momentum.

Vietjet has contributed more than 7,342 billion VND in direct and indirect taxes and fees in the past 9 months.

In the third quarter of 2025, air transport revenue reached VND 16,728 billion, pre-tax profit reached VND 393 billion; accumulated revenue in the first 9 months of the year reached VND 52,329 billion, pre-tax profit VND 1,987 billion, an increase of 28% over the same period in 2024.

Impressive revenue and profit growth

Consolidated revenue for the first 9 months reached VND52,769 billion, profit VND2,051 billion, up 17%. Ancillary revenue reached VND6,893 billion, accounting for 41% of total transportation revenue, up 19% over the same period.

Vietjet has contributed more than 7,342 billion VND in direct and indirect taxes and fees in the past 9 months.

By the end of September 2025, Vietjet will operate 219 routes (169 international, 50 domestic), transport 21.5 million passengers with 98 aircraft, seat utilization rate of 86% and technical reliability of 99.72% - among the highest in the region.

20% Dividend - Solid Financial Foundation

Vietjet's Board of Directors has approved a plan to pay a 20% dividend in shares, equivalent to issuing more than 118.3 million shares, with a total par value of more than VND 1,183 billion.

This decision is based on impressive business results and healthy financial potential, ensuring long-term benefits for shareholders.

Vietjet continues to invest in the Aircraft Maintenance Center in Long Thanh, develop sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), and expand high-quality human resource training at Vietjet Aviation Academy.

Vietjet was honored with the AirlineRatings 2025 Sustainability Award, Best Workplace in Asia, and Top 50 Best Listed Companies in Vietnam by Forbes – affirming the Vietnamese aviation brand's international stature.

With positive market trends, low fuel prices, and a solid technology and financial foundation, Vietjet expects to continue to make strong breakthroughs in 2026.
