Meeting with generations of National Assembly delegates of Lam Dong province

On the afternoon of August 25, the National Assembly Delegation of Lam Dong province, term XV, held a meeting with generations of National Assembly deputies of the province, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the first General Election to elect the National Assembly of Vietnam (January 6, 1946 - January 6, 2026) and to summarize the activities of the National Assembly Delegation of Lam Dong province, term XV, term 2021-2026.

Speaking at the meeting, comrade Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the 15th tenure of Lam Dong province, said that over the past 80 years, under the wise leadership of the Party, the Vietnamese National Assembly has constantly strived and made efforts to successfully fulfill its historical mission.

From building and perfecting the legal system, deciding on major policies of the country, to performing the supreme supervisory function , the National Assembly has always demonstrated its role as the highest representative body of the people, the highest state power body of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

He emphasized that the great and historic achievements that our country has made in the struggle for national liberation and reunification and in the current process of innovation and international integration have had extremely important contributions from the National Assembly and generations of National Assembly deputies.

During that glorious journey, generations of National Assembly deputies of Lam Dong province have upheld their sense of responsibility, closely connected with the people, honestly reflected the thoughts and aspirations of voters, and contributed many accurate and practical opinions to the process of law-making , supreme supervision and decision-making on important issues of the country.

He believes that the generations of delegates today and tomorrow will continue to inherit and promote the glorious tradition, always innovate and be creative, contributing worthily to the cause of building the Vietnamese National Assembly to be increasingly democratic, professional, modern, close to the people, for the people; continue to be a trustworthy bridge between voters and the National Assembly, accompanying the common development of the country, making worthy contributions to the journey of building and defending the Fatherland in the new period.

At the meeting, National Assembly delegates of Lam Dong province from different periods shared many emotions and expectations that the new National Assembly will continue to affirm its role as a symbol of people's power.

On this occasion, the Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 4 collectives and 8 individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the first General Election to elect the National Assembly of Vietnam and during the term of the 15th National Assembly of the National Assembly Delegation of Lam Dong province.
