On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024), on the morning of April 6, at Conference Center 25B (Thanh Hoa City, Thanh Hoa Province), the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in coordination with Thanh Hoa Province solemnly organized the program "Meeting and paying tribute to Dien Bien soldiers, youth volunteers, and frontline laborers who directly participated in the Dien Bien Phu campaign".
Mr. Do Van Chien, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Mr. Tran Van Ron, Permanent Deputy Head of the Central Inspection Committee; Mr. Pham Tat Thang, Permanent Deputy Head of the Central Committee for Mass Mobilization; leaders of central departments, ministries, branches, unions, agencies; leaders of Military Region 4, some provinces in the Red River Delta and North Central region.
In particular, the program had the participation of delegates who were Dien Bien soldiers, youth volunteers, and frontline laborers who directly participated in the Dien Bien Phu campaign in the provinces of Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Hai Duong, Hung Yen, Thai Binh, Nam Dinh, Ha Nam and Ninh Binh; relatives of martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the Dien Bien Phu campaign...
The opening was an art program with the theme “The Epic of Dien Bien Phu”. The program clearly depicted the historical context and the Dien Bien Phu Campaign 70 years ago of our army and people.
This is a large-scale program to meet and pay tribute to Dien Bien soldiers, youth volunteers, and frontline workers who directly participated in the Dien Bien Phu campaign organized by Thanh Hoa province, to honor and pay tribute to the heroic martyrs, Dien Bien soldiers, youth volunteers, and frontline workers who directly participated in the Dien Bien Phu campaign...
Before the meeting, the delegation of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the delegation of Thanh Hoa province led by Mr. Do Van Chien, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Mr. Do Trong Hung, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Thanh Hoa province, came to offer incense and flowers to President Ho Chi Minh and visit Ham Rong Martyrs' Cemetery.
