Meeting and honoring teachers and students with outstanding achievements at the 2025 Asia-Pacific Informatics Olympiad

The meeting showed the attention and recognition of the provincial leaders for the efforts and outstanding contributions of the provincial Department of Education and Training in the field of training excellent students to win international awards.

At the meeting, the Provincial Party Committee commended Le Kien Thanh, a 12th grade IT student at Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted (Quy Nhon City), who had just won a Silver Medal at the 2025 Asia- Pacific Informatics Olympiad. At the same time, commended teacher Nguyen Thi Kieu, who directly taught and trained Thanh to win the award.

In order to promptly encourage and recognize achievements, the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee presented congratulatory flowers, certificates of merit, letters of commendation and rewards to Le Kien Thanh and teacher Nguyen Thi Kieu.

Speaking at the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Ho Quoc Dung congratulated Le Kien Thanh on his excellent performance at the 2025 Asia-Pacific Informatics Olympiad, affirming that this is not only a source of pride for him personally but also a source of joy for his family, school and the whole province. He emphasized that this result is a clear demonstration of the increasingly improving quality of Binh Dinh's keyeducation . Recognizing and praising the dedication of the teaching staff; the support and facilitation of the family, Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted and the Department of Education and Training, he expected the education sector to continue to discover and nurture talents, build a team of teachers with good expertise and dedication to their profession, contributing to making Binh Dinh a bright spot in education in the country.

On this occasion, the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education presented a certificate of congratulation. FPT Corporation, Saigon Nhon Hoi Joint Stock Company and Binh Dinh Pharmaceutical and Medical Equipment Joint Stock Company (BIDIPHAR) provided financial support for Le Kien Thanh to continue participating in the International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI) 2025 in Bolivia at the end of July 2025; the total support value is 120 million VND.
