Urgently prepare conditions so that new departments and branches can come into operation from March 1.

Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Phuong Thi Thanh, Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Tran Thi Loc, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Dong Van Luu chaired the meeting. Also attending were Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Thu Trang and leaders of a number of provincial departments, branches and sectors.

At the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Thu Trang reported the content of the 25th session of the Provincial People's Council. Accordingly, at this session, the Provincial People's Committee presented a number of contents such as: Submission of the draft Resolution approving the policy of changing the purpose of forest use to other purposes to implement works and projects in 2025 in Bac Kan province; Submission of the draft Resolution stipulating the authority to decide on liquidation of planted forests in Bac Kan province; Submission of the draft Resolution stipulating the preferential regime of land rent exemption for each area, investment incentive field (investment incentive industry and trade) or in the investment incentive area according to regulations in Bac Kan province...

In particular, implementing the policies and regulations in Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW dated October 25, 2017 of the 12th Party Central Committee on a number of issues on continuing to innovate and reorganize the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined and operate effectively and efficiently, this Session will consider and approve the draft Resolution on merging and reorganizing provincial-level professional agencies; the draft Resolution amending and supplementing Resolution No. 76/NQ-HDND dated December 9, 2024 of the Provincial People's Council deciding on the payroll of civil servants and approving the total number of people working and receiving salaries from the state budget in Bac Kan province in 2025.

At the meeting, delegates discussed a number of issues regarding the organization of the apparatus, staffing, and adjustment of regular budget expenditure estimates of a number of units and localities in the province due to the rearrangement of the apparatus...

Concluding the meeting, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Phuong Thi Thanh requested that specialized agencies continue to prepare content, and that the Provincial People's Council Committees prepare for review to complete before the expanded meeting of the Provincial People's Council Standing Committee on the afternoon of February 19. Completed content will be submitted to the Provincial People's Council, while other incomplete content will not be submitted at this meeting. Units are requested to urgently prepare conditions so that new departments and branches can start operating from March 1.

As planned, the 25th Session will meet between February 21 and 25, 2025./.
