Urgently deploy the final items of Da Dien embankment

The Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board is urging contractors to implement the remaining items of the Da Dien estuary embankment project to prevent landslides and fill in the sea (Da Dien embankment). Items include: concrete road surface for riverbank embankment, sea embankment; construction of stone stacking to complete the sea dike slope, concrete top of the sea dike in the Northern breakwater project; completion of the entire project, acceptance and handover for use.

The Da Dien embankment project started construction in September 2019 with an investment scale of about 1,000m long in the North, about 575m long in the South, about 310m long in the North sea embankment and about 202m long in the North river embankment with a rubble structure combined with precast concrete components. The total investment is about 799 billion VND. Currently, the contractor has completed about 87% of the contract value, and is expected to complete the project this year. When completed, the project will contribute to preventing coastal erosion, protecting lives and property, stabilizing people's lives and infrastructure in Ward 4 and Phu Dong Ward; quickly draining floods, reducing flooding for Tuy Hoa City.
