Gen Z turns away from promotions, only stays with good experiences
Although promotions can attract users to download the app and open accounts, Gen Z will quickly leave if the experience is not smooth and lacks transparency.

Vietnam's consumer finance market is digitizing extremely quickly with more than 12 billion cashless transactions in the first half of 2025 alone. However, promotions only help banks and e-wallets "reach" Gen Z users but cannot retain them for long.
Gen Z easily downloads apps because of the offers, but they are also willing to delete them if the process is cumbersome or the experience is not smooth. Research shows that 68% of global users have abandoned financial services midway because of complicated digital procedures.
Vikki Digital Bank and HDBank are choosing to "feed habits" instead of "burning money on incentives" to retain young users. VikkiGO by Vikki helps to split expenses, pay in installments with 0% interest and high security, reducing the burden of financial management. Meanwhile, HDBank builds a closed financial ecosystem so that users do not have to "jump apps" for each need.
When the experience is smooth and transparent enough, Gen Z will stay not for short-term rewards, but for a long-term sense of control and peace of mind. Dear readers, please watch more videos : Iris scanning tool to verify human | VTV24
