Scoring in the Saudi Arabian Super Cup final, Ronaldo and his Al Nassr teammates still had to watch their opponents Al Hilal crowned champions after a 1-4 defeat.
Determined to win the 2024 Saudi Arabian Super Cup, Al Nassr started the match better than Al Hilal. In the 11th minute, Ronaldo fell in the penalty area but the referee determined that Al Tambakti of Al Hilal was not at fault. In the 17th minute, Ronaldo had a chance to shoot but the superstar was startled and could not shoot.

The advantage in the game helped Al Nassr open the scoring in the 44th minute. Ghareeb dribbled the ball on the left wing before crossing inside for Ronaldo to finish gently past goalkeeper Bono.
After what happened in the first half, Al Nassr was somewhat subjective in the second half and that made them pay a heavy price. Ronaldo's team completely lost control of the game to Al Hilal. In the 55th minute, Savic exchanged passes with Mitrovic before shooting with his left foot, equalizing for the white team.

And in just the 63rd to 69th minute, Mitrovic scored two goals in a row to put Al Hilal ahead of Al Nassr with easy finishes when Al Nassr's defense was in disarray. Everything almost ended for Ronaldo and his teammates in the 72nd minute. Goalkeeper Bento fumbled in the penalty area, allowing Malcom to steal the ball and score the final goal, making it 4-1.
With this result, Ronaldo still has to wait more time to have the second title with Al Nassr while Al Hilal continues to dominate Saudi Arabian football with the 4th consecutive title in just over 1 year.
