* In Lao Cai city: Candidates complain that the Math subject is difficult.
This afternoon (June 26th), the weather was very favorable at all six examination centers in Lao Cai city. The sun was shining gently, making it easy for candidates and their families to travel to the examination sites.

At 1:30 PM, candidates began to be called into the examination room to complete the procedures for the Mathematics exam.
After 90 minutes of testing, the candidates completed their second subject and also concluded the first day of exams. This year's Math exam was in multiple-choice format, with a time limit of 90 minutes, starting at 2:30 PM and ending at 4:00 PM.

After the Math exam at the Lao Cai Specialized High School examination center, many candidates gathered in front of the school to discuss and solve the questions. Many candidates said that this year's Math exam was quite long and required high-level thinking; if they didn't read the questions carefully, they could easily lose points.
Nguyen Thuy Giang, a 12th-grade student specializing in Mathematics at Lao Cai High School for Gifted Students, said: "I was quite surprised by the exam. I didn't think there would be so many questions on probability. The short-answer questions were also difficult. I expect to get 80% on the exam."

At the same exam location, several other candidates were quite satisfied with their Math exam, and although they didn't achieve the score they hoped for, they were confident of getting an 8 in Math.
Nguyen Viet Son, a 12th-grade student specializing in Chemistry at Lao Cai High School for Gifted Students, happily shared: “The exam was designed to differentiate students, with a mix of easy and difficult questions. If you don't have a solid grasp of the material, it's easy to lose points. I did quite well today and think I might get 9 points.”
