Domestic coffee price list updated at 4:30 a.m. on January 2, 2025 |
Vietnam is one of the world's largest coffee exporters, especially Robusta coffee, which accounts for 90% of the country's coffee production. The main coffee growing regions include the Central Highlands provinces of Dak Lak, Gia Lai, Lam Dong and Dak Nong.
According to the latest statistics, the total world coffee supply is currently about 165 million bags, while the total demand is about 168 million bags, leading to a shortage of about 3 million bags. Coffee consumption increases by about 2.5% per year. Due to the influence of many reasons, including the reason that speculators continuously take profits, coffee prices have been on a downward trend in recent trading sessions.
Another important piece of information is that although global coffee production is expected to increase in the coming time, Vietnam, on the other hand, is facing the risk of a decrease in production, but domestic coffee prices remain high, reflecting stable consumption demand and competitiveness in the international market.
