On the afternoon of December 6th, the Tuyen Quang Provincial Police announced that recently, several shops and businesses in Chiem Hoa district have received phone calls and text messages from individuals impersonating officers of the District Military Command to order catering, goods, and military equipment.
To gain the trust of shop owners, the perpetrators sent purchase reports with forged signatures and seals of the Chiêm Hóa District Military Command via Facebook and Zalo.

According to the police, this is a serious violation of the law and also negatively impacts the reputation and honor of military officers and soldiers.
To prevent this type of crime, the Tuyen Quang Provincial Police recommend that people be cautious of individuals contacting them to buy goods on social media (Facebook, Zalo, etc.), and verify the person and address before conducting any transactions.
"When receiving calls or messages from strangers claiming to be police officers , military personnel, or officials from state agencies, offering gifts, requesting information, or asking for help, people should immediately contact the nearest police station, military command, or state agency for guidance," the Tuyen Quang Provincial Police advised.
