Northern region
The price of live pigs today (January 15, 2025) in the Northern region suddenly decreased by 1,000 VND/kg in provinces and cities such as Hung Yen, Hai Duong , Phu Tho, Vinh Phuc and Hanoi. The average price was set at 69,000 VND/kg, the lowest was 68,000 VND and the highest was 70,000 VND.
In particular, provinces such as Thai Binh and Tuyen Quang keep the highest pork price in the country at 70,000 VND/kg.

Central Highlands region
Somewhat differently, the price of live pigs today (January 15, 2025) in the Central Highlands region continues to maintain stability. Currently, the price of live pigs in the Central Highlands region fluctuates between 66,000 - 69,000 VND/kg.
Of which, Lam Dong and Thanh Hoa provinces have the highest live pig price in the region at 69,000 VND/kg. The remaining provinces have live pig prices ranging from 66,000 - 67,000 VND/kg.

Southern region
In contrast to the North, the price of live pigs in the South today (January 15, 2025) recorded a slight increase of 1,000 VND/kg in Hau Giang and reached 67,000 VND/kg. This locality also maintained the lowest price of live pigs in the country in recent times at 66,000 VND/kg.

Currently, the price of live pigs in the Southern region is fluctuating between 67,000 and 69,000 VND/kg. Of which, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Kien Giang, Dong Nai and Tay Ninh have the highest price of live pigs in the region at 69,000 VND/kg. The remaining provinces have live pig prices ranging from 67,000 to 68,000 VND/kg.
In general, the live hog market today (January 15) fluctuated in opposite directions in the Northern and Southern regions, increasing/decreasing by 1,000 VND/kg in some provinces and cities. The Central - Central Highlands region remained stable. Surveys show that live hogs nationwide are being traded at around 67,000 - 70,000 VND/kg.
