Regarding rice, according to the update from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang province, currently, IR 504 raw rice fluctuates at 8,200 - 8,250 VND/kg; CL 555 raw rice fluctuates at 8,600 - 8,800 VND/kg; OM 18 raw rice fluctuates at 10,200 - 10,400 VND/kg; OM 380 raw rice fluctuates at 7,700 - 7,850 VND/kg; 5451 raw rice fluctuates at 9,600 - 9,750 VND/kg; OM 380 finished rice fluctuates at 8,800 - 9,000 VND/kg; IR 504 finished rice fluctuates at 9,500 - 9,700 VND/kg.

For by-products, the price of by-products fluctuates from 7,150 - 9,000 VND/kg. Currently, broken rice 2 has increased by 100 VND/kg, fluctuating at 7,150 - 7,250 VND/kg; the price of bran fluctuates at 8,000 - 9,000 VND/kg.

Recorded in localities today, the source is better, buying and selling transactions are still slow. In An Giang , rice transactions are slow, the market is quiet. In Lap Vo (Dong Thap), the quantity is small, all kinds of rice are at the same price.

Sa Dec market channel ( Dong Thap ), in terms of quantity, mostly large warehouses select rice, buy slowly, stable price. In An Cu (Cai Be, Tien Giang), in terms of quantity, few transactions, stable price.

At retail markets, rice prices of all kinds are stable compared to yesterday. Currently, Nang Nhen rice has the highest listed price of VND28,000/kg; regular rice fluctuates at VND13,000 - 15,000/kg; Jasmine fragrant rice fluctuates at VND16,000 - 18,000/kg; common white rice fluctuates at VND16,000/kg; Soc rice often fluctuates at VND17,000/kg; long-grain fragrant rice fluctuates at VND20,000 - 22,000/kg; Huong Lai rice 22,000/kg; Nang Hoa rice 21,000/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice 20,000/kg; Soc Thai rice 20,000/kg; Japanese rice 22,000/kg.

In many localities today, sources are low, transactions are slow, and prices are trending down. In Dong Thap, farmers keep their asking prices, and traders are slow to buy new ones. In Long An, transactions are slow, most of the deposits have been made, and prices are stagnant.

In An Giang and Can Tho, the supply of early-cut summer-autumn rice is better, but demand is still slow and prices fluctuate. In Kien Giang, the price of summer-autumn rice is stable and there are few transactions.

In the export market, Vietnam's rice export prices have increased slightly compared to the beginning of the week. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), currently 5% standard rice is at 398 USD/ton (up 1 USD/ton); 25% broken rice is at 368 USD/ton; 100% broken rice is at 323 USD/ton.
