The 2025 Global Coffee Heritage Festival is being held for the first time with the hope of turning Lam Dong into the “coffee capital of the world”. The event is part of the local economic, tourism and cultural development strategy, aiming for long-term and sustainable values.

Through the festival, Lam Dong coffee brand is affirmed, at the same time the local image is strongly promoted to tourists and investors. The province hopes that this activity will help attract new resources and expand the cooperation network in the coffee industry.

Lam Dong was chosen to host thanks to its superior natural conditions, cool highland climate and over 100 years of Arabica growing history. The combination of agriculture, tourism and culture has created a unique identity, paving the way for an international festival.

The festival is expected to be held annually, aiming to turn Da Lat into a global coffee center - a place where research, creation, experience and coffee trade converge. This is part of a long-term plan to build Da Lat into a "coffee city" of the world.

Pepper prices are stable

Faced with fluctuations in supply, many cooperatives in Lam Dong are promoting linkage models to maintain production. Binh Minh Production - Trade - Service Cooperative is a pioneer in cooperating with processing enterprises and international organizations to develop sustainable raw material areas.

The province currently has about 2,800 hectares of pepper with an output of 5,500 tons, of which more than 1,400 hectares have participated in chain linkage. Local authorities believe that the previous small-scale production model made farmers vulnerable to price pressure, while the current linkage model helps improve brand and stabilize output.

With a total area of about 36,000 hectares of pepper, Lam Dong is aiming to develop "Clean Pepper" products that meet international standards, thereby increasing the value and position of the local pepper industry.
