Gia Phu: Mobilizing people to voluntarily remove homemade exhausts attached to motorbikes

Many car owners have voluntarily removed their exhausts when the authorities mobilized.

Through understanding the local situation and receiving feedback from the people, Gia Phu Commune Police have increased their efforts to the grassroots level, checking each household to disseminate traffic laws. Thereby, 40 families of young people with modified exhaust pipes were mobilized to voluntarily remove the homemade exhaust pipes on their motorbikes and replace them with the original exhaust pipes of the motorbikes; at the same time, they signed a commitment not to repeat the act of modifying exhaust pipes.

In addition, Gia Phu Commune Police also directly went to local motorbike repair shops to propagate and popularize the Road Traffic Law. 11/11 motorbike repair shops in the area voluntarily signed a commitment: not to buy and sell vehicles and spare parts of unclear origin; not to replace or assemble spare parts that do not comply with the design of the vehicle type...
