Domestic pepper prices updated on the morning of May 13, 2025 |
Experts say the domestic market is still lacking the motivation to increase prices, as exports have stagnated and domestic purchasing power has not yet broken through. Meanwhile, the world pepper market is entering a period of strong fluctuations, with the market increasing and decreasing with each trading session. Some places have temporarily maintained stable prices, but many areas have witnessed a clear decline due to unfavorable weather and weak consumption demand.
This situation makes domestic investors and traders become cautious, limit purchasing and hoarding goods, and wait for clearer signals from the market.
Many experts believe that the demand for pepper in the international market is still stable, a positive signal that can help keep domestic prices at a reasonable level in the coming time. However, the general trend is still to move sideways or fluctuate slightly within a narrow range if there is no strong demand from exports.
