On the morning of August 29, domestic pepper prices exceeded 150,000 VND/kg, marking a strong recovery of the market. At the same time, Vietnam's pepper exports remained stable, despite fluctuations in international markets.

According to statistics, in the first half of August, pepper export turnover reached 71.8 million USD, bringing the total export value since the beginning of the year to 1.06 billion USD, affirming Vietnam's leading position in the global pepper market. This also shows that the demand for pepper from international markets remains high.

With this positive growth momentum, the Vietnamese pepper market is enjoying a double advantage as domestic prices are increasing, exports are stable, and especially, the US tax policy is opening up great opportunities to expand market share. Experts predict that in the last months of the year, global pepper prices will continue to increase, bringing many benefits to Vietnamese farmers and businesses.
