Right in the first month of this year, businesses and individual production and trading establishments in Binh Thuan province have stepped up their activities to serve the Lunar New Year of the Dragon 2024. At the same time, the electricity production and distribution sector continues to maintain stable operations and actively contributes to the overall industrial growth of the locality.

Việt Nam•31/01/2024Results for January 2024 show that the value of industrial production (at 2010 constant prices) in the province is estimated at VND 3,403.3 billion, an increase of 15.3% compared to the same period last year. This increase is mainly contributed by the processing and manufacturing industry with VND 1,395.3 billion (an increase of 11.8%), and electricity production and distribution reaching nearly VND 1,920 billion (an increase of 20.3%).
This month, local industrial production also recorded increases in many key products compared to the same period last year, such as: frozen seafood increased by 62.5%, dried seafood increased by over 29%, and fish sauce increased by 29%. In addition, mineral water (excluding purified mineral water) increased by 64.4%, footwear increased by nearly 55%, ready-made clothing increased by over 40%, bricks increased by 25.8%, electricity production increased by 21.8%, rubber processing increased by 20.5%, and wood and wood products increased by 60.5%...
