Gold price this afternoon (April 17): Gold hits new peak

Specifically, today's gold price on the domestic market is listed as follows:

SJC gold price in Hanoi and Da Nang is 115.50 million VND/tael for buying (up 2.5 million VND/tael) - 118 million VND/tael for selling (up 2.5 million VND/tael).

DOJI gold price in Hanoi area is 115.50 million VND/tael for buying (up 2.5 million VND/tael) - 118 million VND/tael for selling (up 2.5 million VND/tael).

Similarly, DOJI gold price in Ho Chi Minh City also increased by 2.5 million VND in both directions, trading at: 115.50 million VND/tael for buying - 118 million VND/tael for selling.

PNJ gold price is being bought at 114 million VND/tael (up 3.5 million VND/tael) and sold at 117 million VND/tael (up 3.4 million VND/tael).

Bao Tin Minh Chau gold price increased by 3 million VND/tael for buying and 2.5 million VND/tael for selling, listed at 115.50 million VND/tael and 118 million VND/tael, respectively.

Phu Quy SJC gold price also increased by 3.5 million VND/tael for buying and 3 million VND/tael for selling, listed at 114.50 million VND/tael and 117 million VND/tael respectively.

* Meanwhile, gold rings also skyrocketed to 118 million VND/tael for sale.

Accordingly, Bao Tin Minh Chau plain round rings are listed at 115 - 118 million VND/tael (buy - sell).

Phu Quy listed gold rings at 113.50 - 116.50 million VND/tael.

SJC gold rings are listed at 114 - 117 million VND/tael.

This is the 14th time in 2025 that world gold prices have reached a new peak, reflecting the strong attraction of precious metals in a volatile global context.
