SJC gold bar price increases again

(NLDO) – The price of SJC gold bars has increased again following the world after two days of decline. However, the price is still nearly 3 million VND lower than a few days ago.

On the morning of May 28, the price of SJC gold bars was listed by gold businesses such as SJC, PNJ, DOJI at around 115.8 million VND/tael for buying and 118.3 million VND/tael for selling, up 300,000 VND per tael compared to the end of yesterday.

However, in the past 3 days, the price of SJC gold bars has still decreased by a total of nearly 3 million VND per tael.

The price of SJC gold bars is at its lowest level in nearly a month. Compared to the record peak of 124 million VND, each tael of gold has lost nearly 6 million VND/tael.

Meanwhile, the price of gold rings and jewelry gold is traded stably around 111 - 114 million VND/tael for buying and selling.

The difference between buying and selling prices remains high at 3 million VND/tael.

SJC gold bar price increases again

Domestic gold prices recovered following the upward trend of world prices. In the international market, gold prices today were traded at 3,306 USD/ounce, up about 16 USD/ounce compared to the end of yesterday.

However, gold prices have still fallen sharply in the past few days, as demand for gold as a safe haven has eased.

The main reason for the decline in gold prices is still the optimistic sentiment in the financial market after President Donald Trump decided to postpone the imposition of a 50% tax on the European Union until July 9, instead of applying it from June 1 as previously announced.

US stock indexes rose sharply, while the USD also recorded a significant increase. The USD index is currently at 99.57 points, up 0.15% compared to the previous session.

Currently, the world gold price converted according to the listed exchange rate is about 104 million VND/tael.
