New orientation in social science training

(NLDO) - Designing smart practical activities is a way to improve application capacity for students in social sciences.

This is the sharing of Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Huu Huy Nhut, Vice Principal of Hong Bang International University at the scientific conference with the theme "Designing practical activities in training Social Sciences in an application-oriented direction" held on May 28.

The business-connected lecture hall model helps students gain a rich practical perspective.

The event attracted a large number of experts, lecturers, business representatives and students to participate, strongly spreading the spirit of academics combined with practice.

According to Associate Professor Nhut, from the mock trial model that helps law students practice litigation skills, to the impact of artificial intelligence in media training, the model of applying Vietnamese studies to business practices,... are contributing to improving students' capacity and practical perspective.

"Incorporating practical activities into the training program to improve students' application capacity is very important and urgent," Associate Professor Nhut emphasized.

Dr. Bui Thi Ngoc Phuong, Deputy Head of the Faculty of Social Sciences, said that this workshop is a valuable opportunity to spread the applied training model and strengthen the connection between schools and professional practices, shorten the gap between students and businesses, and provide practical orientation to develop training programs in a direction that is more closely linked to social needs.
