Launching the search for "Global Vietnamese Voice" 2025

(NLDO) - The music contest "Global Vietnamese Singing 2025" officially launched on the afternoon of May 30 in Hanoi.

The "Global Vietnamese Singing Contest" is held to search for and honor Vietnamese voices around the world and promote cultural values ​​of national identity through music .

This year, the competition will take place entirely in Vietnam with a jury panel that gathers many experienced and prestigious artists, ranging from traditional to modern, such as musician Luu Thien Huong (Head of the jury), singers Y Lan, Manh Dinh, Ngoc Anh, Sy Luan, Giang Hong Ngoc, pipa artist Vu Dieu Thao...

"Global Vietnamese Singing" 2025 is open to all Vietnamese citizens from 16 to 60 years old, regardless of professional or amateur status, as long as they have talent and passion for singing.

Singer Thuy Vu, former member of the group AC&M (disbanded in 2009), became the Champion of "Global Vietnamese Singing" in January 2024.

The competition will go through 4 rounds: preliminary, semi-final, final and final ranking.

The Final Ranking Night with the 20 best voices is scheduled to be held on October 18, 2025 at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Labor Cultural Palace ( Hanoi ).

The award structure includes 1 champion prize and 2 runner-up prizes for each lyrical genre (old music, Bolero); folk - red music and light music (Pop, Rock, R&B). In addition, there are additional prizes such as: Most favorite contestant, Promising contestant, Jury's Choice Award, National Identity Honor Award...

Mr. Henry Nguyen, Head of the Organizing Committee of the contest, said he wanted to develop the contest in depth, spread it widely in the country, and at the same time build a solid foundation to expand globally in the following seasons.

Online platforms will support broadcasting, voting and interaction from the international community, helping the contest continue to be a spiritual meeting place for Vietnamese people around the world .
