DOJI listed the price of 9999 gold today at 77.50 million VND/tael for buying and 78.65 million VND/tael for selling. Both prices increased sharply by 150,000 VND/tael in both directions.
At Mi Hong Gold and Gemstone Company, the price of Mi Hong gold at the time of survey listed the price of SJC gold at 79.5-80.5 million VND/tael (buy - sell).
SJC gold price at Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited is also traded by the enterprise at 78.5-80.5 million VND/tael (buy in - sell out). Meanwhile, at Bao Tin Manh Hai, it is being traded at 78.5-80.5 million VND/tael (buy in - sell out).

World gold price today September 12, 2024 and world gold price fluctuation chart in the past 24 hours
According to Kitco, the world gold price recorded at 5:00 a.m. today, Vietnam time, was at 2,506.58 USD/ounce. Today's gold price increased by 1.8 USD/ounce compared to yesterday's gold price. Converted according to the USD exchange rate on the free market (25,270 VND/USD), the world gold price is about 77.10 million VND/tael (excluding taxes and fees). Thus, the price of SJC gold bars is 3.39 million VND/tael higher than the international gold price.
The gap between domestic and international gold prices is still high due to the recent devaluation of the USD. Domestic SJC gold prices are stable at a high level, without much fluctuation.
World gold prices remain stable above $2,500/ounce, investors await inflation data from the US. Daniel Ghali of TD Securities commented that gold prices are stable, awaiting new factors.
Reuters forecasts that the CPI may rise 0.2% in August, the same as last month. Han Tan of Exinity Group said that gold prices will find support at $2,500 an ounce, and any decline will attract buyers.
The CME FedWatch tool is forecasting a 100% chance of a September rate cut, with a 73% chance of a 25 basis point cut and a 27% chance of a 50 basis point cut.
