(NLDO) – The price of SJC gold bars and 99.99 gold rings remains at a record high amid violent fluctuations of precious metals on the international market.
On Saturday morning, October 26, SJC Company listed the price of SJC gold bars at 87 million VND/tael for buying and 89 million VND/tael for selling, maintaining the high price since the beginning of the week.
The price of 99.99 gold rings and all kinds of jewelry gold was also kept unchanged by SJC Company at the buying price of 87 million VND/tael, selling price of 88.5 million VND/tael. Meanwhile, DOI Group slightly reduced the selling price by 100,000 VND to 88.9 million VND/tael, buying price of 87.9 million VND/tael.
Gold prices today in the domestic market are still sky high.
The highest price of gold rings this morning at Bao Tin Minh Chau Company is no longer at 89 million VND/tael like the previous days, but has decreased to 88.98 million VND/tael for selling and 87.88 million VND/tael for buying.
However, domestic gold prices fluctuated within a narrow range while precious metal prices in the international market had a "stormy" weekend session.
Specifically, in last night's trading session, the international gold price at one point plummeted to nearly 2,700 USD/ounce, down to only 2,716 USD/ounce, but suddenly increased again shortly after.
At the end of the week, gold price closed at 2,748 USD/ounce, up 20 USD/ounce compared to the previous session.
According to analysts, gold prices have fluctuated strongly in recent days due to the ongoing tensions in the Middle East. Gold prices have increased as demand for safe havens has increased, but profit-taking pressure after a period of overheating has also caused the precious metal to fall rapidly.
Currently, the world gold price converted according to the listed exchange rate is about 84.4 million VND/tael.
