Domestic gold price decreases, gap with world increases

This morning, July 29, the domestic gold price decreased by 100,000-200,000 VND/tael. The difference between domestic and international gold prices is about 15.8 million VND/tael.

Opening the market, Saigon Jewelry Company Limited listed the price of gold rings of type 1-5 at only 114.4 million VND/tael (buy) - 116.9 million VND/tael (sell), down 100,000 VND/tael each way compared to the end of the previous day.

Phu Quy Group set the price at 115.1 million VND/tael (buy) - 118.1 million VND/tael (sell) instead of the previous 114.9 million VND/tael (buy) - 117.9 million VND/tael (sell).

In the same trend, Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited decreased by 100,000 VND/tael each way, down to 116.1 million VND/tael (buy) - 119.1 million VND/tael (sell).

The price of SJC gold bars also went down. The company listed the price at 119.5 million VND/tael (buy) - 121 million VND/tael (sell), 100,000 VND/tael lower than the end of the previous day each way.

The buying and selling price range is generally set by businesses at 2-3 million VND/tael. Yesterday, July 28, the domestic gold price remained stable.

In the international market, early this morning, the world gold price was trading at 3,314 USD/ounce, down 30 USD compared to the peak of last night's trading session in the context of a strong increase in the USD price.

At 9am, the gold price was 3,319 USD/ounce, about 15.8 million VND/tael lower than the domestic gold price. This difference increased by 400,000 VND/tael compared to the same time the previous day.
