
According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade , the world oil market in this operating period (from October 16, 2025 to October 22, 2025) is affected by key factors such as: OPEC+ announced an increase in oil production in November but the increase was lower than expected; global oil demand tends to weaken; the military conflict between Russia and Ukraine continues, Ukraine continues to increase attacks on Russian energy facilities...
Accordingly, the price of E5RON92 gasoline is not higher than VND 19,050/liter (down VND 176/liter compared to the current base price); RON95-III gasoline is not higher than VND 19,726/liter (down VND 177/liter compared to the current base price); 0.05S diesel is not higher than VND 17,885/liter (down VND 538/liter compared to the current base price); kerosene is not higher than VND 18,115/liter (down VND 291/liter compared to the current base price); 180CST 3.5S mazut is not higher than VND 14,098/kg (down VND 273/kg compared to the current base price).
Thus, since the beginning of the year, domestic gasoline prices have undergone 44 adjustments, of which RON 95 gasoline has increased 24 times, decreased 20 times; diesel oil has increased 21 times, decreased 22 times and remained unchanged once.
The adjustment of retail gasoline prices is decided by key traders and distributors, but cannot be implemented earlier than 3:00 p.m. on October 23, 2025.
The time to apply the new base price will last until the next announcement period of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Enterprises will adjust prices in accordance with the provisions of the current Decrees and Circulars on the management of petroleum business and the use of the Price Stabilization Fund.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade will continue to coordinate with relevant agencies to inspect and monitor the implementation of regulations on ensuring petroleum supply, and strictly handle violations if detected.
