Gasoline prices continue to rise
Oil prices today (December 19) on the international market continued to rise steadily due to concerns about supply disruptions. Brent crude oil prices exceeded 78 USD/barrel while WTI crude oil prices reached 73 USD/barrel.
On December 18, world oil prices continued to increase since last week.
World oil prices continued to rise due to low exports from Russia and developments related to oil tankers in the Red Sea raised concerns about disruptions in oil supplies.
Russia said on December 17 it would cut oil exports by at least 50,000 barrels per day or more in December, as the world's largest oil exporters try to support global oil prices.

The move comes after Russia suspended exports of nearly 70% of its Urals crude oil due to a storm and scheduled maintenance on December 15.
In addition, oil prices increased due to concerns that the security situation in the Middle East could affect oil supplies after an attack on an oil tanker in the Red Sea.
Oil prices also received support from a weaker US dollar, which makes oil cheaper for buyers holding other currencies.
In the domestic market, the selling prices of gasoline and oil today (December 19) are applied according to the price of the operating session on the afternoon of December 14.
