RON95 gasoline price increased by nearly 800 VND/liter

E5 RON 92 gasoline has a new price of 19,238 VND/liter, an increase of 740 VND/liter compared to the current price. After adjustment, the price of E5 RON 92 gasoline is 400 VND/liter lower than that of RON 95-III gasoline.

Similarly, RON 95-III gasoline has a new price of VND19,638/liter, an increase of VND782/liter.

Diesel 0.05S has a new price of 17,524 VND/liter, an increase of 487 VND/liter. Kerosene has a new price of 17,715 VND/liter, an increase of 531 VND/liter compared to the current price; fuel oil 180CST 3.5S is adjusted to 16,524 VND/kg, an increase of 564 VND/kg.

In this adjustment period, the joint ministries decided to continue not to set aside and not to use the gasoline price stabilization fund for E5 RON 92 gasoline, RON 95 gasoline, diesel oil, kerosene and fuel oil.

According to the joint agency of the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance, the world oil market during the operating period from April 17 to 24 is affected by many factors with the main upward trend.

That is the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) released information that US crude oil reserves increased, gasoline and distillate inventories decreased.

The US changes tariffs on goods from trading partners; OPEC+ oil production is expected to increase in the coming time; the military conflict between Russia and Ukraine continues…

The above factors have caused world oil prices to fluctuate up and down in recent days depending on the product, but the general trend is upward.

The above factors have caused the world oil prices to have a general downward trend in recent days. Of which, gasoline has tended to increase by over 5%, kerosene by 3.36%, diesel by 3.03%, and fuel oil by 4.24%.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade said that the time for petrol traders to adjust is at 3:00 p.m. today, April 24.

Thus, after increasing continuously for three sessions, gasoline prices have reversed and decreased sharply for two consecutive sessions due to the reciprocal tax imposed by US President Donald Trump and then increased again due to the decreasing tension in negotiations. Since the beginning of the year, RON 95 gasoline has increased 9 times and decreased 8 times.

To adjust gasoline prices, the Ministry of Industry and Trade said it will coordinate with relevant agencies to inspect and supervise the implementation of the responsibility of ensuring gasoline supply for the market by gasoline traders, and will strictly handle violations.
