The conference announced the winning bid results and signed contracts with the winning bidders of packages 3, 4, 5 and provided general guidance on the task of developing nomination documents and the roadmap for developing nomination documents for contractors, specifically:

Package No. 3: Prepare nomination dossier and management plan for Oc Eo - Ba The archaeological site in An Giang province, submit to UNESCO for recognition as a World Cultural Heritage; contractor name: Joint venture of Institute for Monuments Conservation - Center for Applied Geology, Heritage and Environment Research (University of Social Sciences and Humanities). Estimated implementation time is 22 months from the date of contract signing.

Package No. 4: Communication, propaganda and promotion of the Oc Eo - Ba The archaeological site (non-consulting package); contractor name: Joint venture of the Institute for Monuments Conservation - Red Sun Tourism Service and Trade Investment Joint Stock Company; estimated implementation time is 22 months from the date the contract is signed.

Package No. 5: Demarcation and marking of the protection area of the Oc Eo - Ba The special national relic site; contractor name: Dat Viet Surveying and Mapping Consulting Joint Stock Company; estimated implementation time is 2 months.

Director of the Oc Eo Cultural Relic Management Board of An Giang province Nguyen Huu Gieng suggested to the contractor and the joint venture contractor a number of issues, such as: It is necessary to closely follow the ICOMOS report and planning to prepare the dossier; closely follow the documents of Louis Malleret, of domestic and international experts who conducted archaeological excavations before and after 1975; especially the documents of the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences in the archaeological excavation of the Oc Eo - Ba The, Nen Chua relics in 2017 - 2020. Along with that, urgently send forces to the relics to deploy surveys and carry out procedures to request permission for additional archaeological excavation of the relics; at the same time, add to the dossier about the Nen Chua, Canh Den and Giong Xoai relics of Kien Giang ...

At the conference, the Oc Eo Cultural Relic Management Board of An Giang province signed contracts with the winning bidders of packages 3, 4, and 5.
