(QNO) - This afternoon, January 11, the Ministry of Finance - Industry and Trade announced changes in retail gasoline prices in the new adjustment period.
Specifically, the management agency decided to increase the price of E5RON92 gasoline by 40 VND/liter to 21,040 VND/liter; and increase the price of RON95 gasoline by 20 VND/liter to 21,930 VND/liter. The price of diesel increased by 340 VND/liter to 19,700 VND/liter; kerosene increased by 380 VND/liter to 20,330 VND/liter; and fuel oil increased by 320 VND/kg to 15,810 VND/kg.
In this management period, the joint ministry did not set aside or spend the price stabilization fund for all types of gasoline and oil.
Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Trade sent a document requesting the Department of Industry and Trade of provinces and cities to contribute ideas and develop a new decree on petroleum trading.
According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Government Standing Committee assigned the Ministry of Industry and Trade to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies to continue researching and developing a new decree to replace the decrees on petroleum business (Decree 83, Decree 95) according to the provisions of the Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents, to submit to the Government in the second quarter of this year.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade requests that the Departments of Industry and Trade review and evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of current regulations in the decrees on petroleum trading and contribute and propose new contents for the decrees. Comments should be sent to the Ministry of Industry and Trade before January 12.
