'Barefoot Beach Run 2025' opens free registration link

DNO - According to information from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang city, the organizing committee has just opened the registration link to participate in the "Barefoot Running on the Sea 2025" race, with the theme "Exercise health - Connect the community - Spread the image of a livable coastal city".

The "Barefoot Beach Run 2024" attracted nearly 1,000 athletes to participate.

As planned, the event will take place at 4:30 a.m. on June 22, and is expected to attract about 1,000 participants. The athletes will depart from the Ariyana Danang International Convention Palace to the beach area in front of the Muong Thanh Hotel (intersection of Vo Nguyen Giap - Nguyen Van Thoai).

The city's Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said that the "Barefoot Beach Run 2025" is aimed at sports enthusiasts, local people as well as experts, domestic and foreign tourists who are present in Da Nang during the festival. Taking place in the form of a barefoot run along My Khe beach, the tournament promises to bring a unique experience, close to nature, while spreading the message of positive, healthy living and community connection. Athletes compete in a 4km distance with 2 categories for men and women. The winner will receive a cash prize and gifts from sponsors.

As part of the Enjoy Danang Festival 2025, the event promises to be a highlight in the series of summer festival activities, contributing to bringing the image of Danang closer to domestic and foreign tourists. Currently, the registration link has been opened on the official website of the event and social media platforms of the Enjoy Danang Festival 2025. The registration period lasts until June 21 or when the number of athletes is sufficient.
