Opening of Tam Ky Sea Festival 2025

(QNO) - On the evening of June 14, at Tam Thanh Sea Square, the Tam Ky Sea Festival 2025 opened. Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Luong Nguyen Minh Triet; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Nam Hung; Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department Huynh Thi Thuy Dung, along with city leaders and a large number of people and tourists attended.

In recent years, during the sea tourism season, Tam Ky City has maintained the organization of sea festivals to serve the people and tourists and leave many impressions.

This year, Tam Ky Sea Festival includes many exciting cultural, artistic and sports activities such as: traditional boat racing, round basket shaking on the sea, Marathon, exchange of bands and art performances of singing and chanting, exhibition of traditional products and Tam Ky cuisine , artistic kite performances, sand sculptures...

In his opening speech, Mr. Nguyen Minh Nam - Permanent Vice Chairman of Tam Ky City People's Committee emphasized that not only Tam Thanh beach is clear blue, white sand, golden sunshine or the poetic Truong Giang river, Tam Ky also has many valuable values, from Tam Thanh traditional fish sauce, Tam Thanh community art village, rustic coastal fishing village to the Sua flower festival, Bai Choi singing, Ba Trao singing... contributing to the identity of the beloved land of Tam Ky.

With the determination to build and develop sustainable tourism, making Tam Ky an attractive tourist destination of Quang Nam province ..., in recent times, the city has made efforts to invest in infrastructure, organize large-scale cultural and sports activities, including the Tam Ky sea festival. The sea festival is an annual event and has become a typical tourism and cultural brand of the city.

“In 2025, marking a special milestone, Tam Ky City established 4 new wards and became Da Nang City. Tam Ky Sea Festival 2025 is not only a festival, but also a gratitude, a profound spiritual gift that the Party Committee and the government of Tam Ky City send to the people and tourists as a complete, proud and emotional greeting before the historic moment, ending a journey of many years of building a tourism brand named Tam Ky and opening a new chapter.

In which, cultural values, heritage and people will continue to be nurtured, built and spread. From Thang Hoa, Ha Dong, Le Duong in the past, to Tam Ky, Tien Phuoc, Tra My, Nui Thanh, Phu Ninh; and now Tam Ky, Ban Thach, Huong Tra and Quang Phu" - Mr. Nam said.

Right after the opening ceremony was the art program "Tam Thanh - clear blue sea and cool river" performed by famous artists from all over the country.

Tam Ky Sea Festival 2025 takes place from June 13 to 15.
