Launching the Nhan Dan Newspaper logo on Vietnam Airlines aircraft to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day

This afternoon, June 18, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025), Nhan Dan Newspaper and Vietnam Airlines jointly launched a special-looking aircraft.

This is not only a symbolic activity, but also demonstrates the connection between Nhan Dan Newspaper - the press agency holding the leading position in Vietnam's revolutionary press - and the national airline throughout the journey accompanying the country over the past decades.

Accordingly, the image of Nhan Dan Newspaper logo and the number "100 years of Vietnam Revolutionary Journalism" will appear solemnly on the body of the Boeing 787-9 aircraft with registration number VN-A8671, one of the most modern and long-range aircraft of Vietnam Airlines, often operated on key international routes.

It is not only an identifiable design, but also a symbol of a century-long journey accompanying the revolutionary cause and national development of the Vietnamese revolutionary press.

The above image also conveys the message of combining thought and action – when the press, the pioneering force on the cultural and ideological front, accompanies aviation, a field closely associated with modernization, connection and international integration.

The striking yellow color of the words “Nhan Dan – 100 years of Vietnamese Revolutionary Journalism” , harmoniously combined with the typical blue background of Vietnam Airlines, represents the spirit of rising high, spreading and sustainability of revolutionary journalism, while also symbolizing the intelligence, bravery and aspirations of the nation in the new era. With minimalist but sophisticated lines, the image blends the depth of national culture and global aesthetic language, affirming the position of two national brands when flying together in the world sky.

Speaking at the event, Comrade Le Quoc Minh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association emphasized that this is the first time the logo of a press agency has appeared on the fuselage of a Vietnam Airlines aircraft. He also expressed his hope that from now on, the image of Nhan Dan Newspaper in particular, and revolutionary journalism in general, will continue to spread widely to the public at home and abroad.

Speaking about the significance of the event, Mr. Dang Ngoc Hoa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Airlines, shared: “The launch of the aircraft bearing the logo of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day is a meaningful event, not only expressing Vietnam Airlines' gratitude to the revolutionary press, but also marking the connection between Vietnam Airlines and Nhan Dan Newspaper, two agencies that share the responsibility of conveying Vietnamese values to the world. The fuselage of the aircraft is now not only a means of transportation, but also a wing of faith, culture and aspirations for national development. We believe that, with this companionship, the image of Vietnam will continue to be spread deeply, modernly and proudly in the international sky.”

Printing the Nhan Dan Newspaper logo on the fuselage also conveys a message of aspiration to reach far, integrate deeply and constantly innovate. In the vast sky, the image of two national brands side by side on the fuselage is also a strong message about a Vietnam that is constantly taking off, from its glorious history to its future aspirations.
