Recently, on the afternoon of Saturday, June 7, 2025, in Hanoi, a series of events took place: Final Round & Award Ceremony of the 6th Vietnam Interior Design Student Awards and Asia-Pacific Interior Design Student Project Exhibition.

The event series is jointly organized by the Vietnam Furniture Association, the Vietnam Young Interior Design Community and the Hanoi Creative Activities Coordination Center, bringing together excellent projects from domestic and international students, with the participation of leading interior design experts in the Asia-Pacific region.

The Vietnam Interior Student Award (ISA) is an annual award co-organized by the Vietnam Interior Association and the Vietnam Young Interior Design Community, with the goal of creating a professional competition and providing opportunities for students in the interior industry to practice and gain real-life experience, promoting creativity. Entering its sixth year, the prestige and professionalism of the award has always been the top priority criteria, successfully gathering a jury of leading experts in the Asia- Pacific region, attracting thousands of graduation projects of interior students from 27 universities and colleges nationwide.

ISA's Board of Professional Judges

Notably, this is the first time the presentation and debate of the Top 10 Vietnam Interior Design Student Awards have been held live on a large stage, witnessed by nearly 500 spectators. These unique, creative and fierce presentations were also broadcast online on the Fanpage of the Young Interior Design Community, attracting thousands of followers from the design-loving community across the country.

After an online voting round attracting 10,000 votes and two rigorous rounds of judging, the judges selected the best entries and awarded this year's Vietnam Interior Student Awards.

BTC awarded prizes and trophies to the First Prize contestants

The First Prize worth 30 million VND went to the work “Pure Porcelain” by contestant Dinh Van Toan from Hanoi University of Civil Engineering. The First Prize winning work made a special impression on the jury not only because of its creative idea and attractive form of expression but also because of its attention to detail in a technical yet emotional way.

Second Prize

Second prize worth 20 million VND was awarded to contestant Tran Lam Linh with "Mgallery Tuyen Lam Lake Resort - Da Lat".

Third Prize

Two Third Prizes (each prize of 15 million VND) went to contestant Nguyen Thi Yen Nhi with the work "Hoi - Huong - Muong" and contestant Nguyen Minh Thang with the work "Tong Xa Craft Village Museum".

Encouragement prize

6 Consolation Prizes (each prize worth 5 million VND) were awarded to contestant Truong Thi Phuong Anh with the work "Interior design of a tourist train: Journey: To the heritage land: Hanoi - Ninh Binh; Contestant Nguyen Phan Quang Hien with the work "Anantara Mui Ne Resort"; Contestant Ngo Vi Phong with the work "Renovation of Thang Long Water Puppet Theater"; Contestant Nguyen Vu Phuoc with the work "Basilica of Our Lady of La Vang"; Contestant Lu Quynh Giao with the work "Craft and Seal Coffee & Workshop"; Contestant Dong Thi To Uyen with the work "Oceanography Museum".

As a beautiful tradition of the award, each contestant, judge and sponsor accompanying the event series received a souvenir trophy with the image of an open door - the inspirational symbol of the award.

Asia-Pacific Interior Design Student Project Exhibition: Spreading multicultural creativity, inspiring global creative thinking

The Asia-Pacific Interior Student Project Exhibition is where unique designs from young generations across the region come together, creating an open dialogue space using the language of shapes, light and materials. Here, each project is not only a graduation assignment, but also a “creative manifesto” bearing the cultural imprint, aesthetic thinking and national spirit typical of each country.

Through the exhibition, viewers will partly feel the strong wave of creativity rising from the generation of young designers - who are gradually establishing a new position for the Asia - Pacific region on the global design map. It is confident, proactive and full of the spirit of exploration, ready to integrate without dissolving.

The 6th Interior Student Awards is a series of prestigious activities for the Interior Design student community in Vietnam organized by the Young Interior Design Community in collaboration with the Vietnam Interior Association and the Hanoi Creative Activities Coordination Center, with the participation of the Asia-Pacific Spatial Design Association (APSDA), Singapore Society of Interior Design (SIDS), Philippine Institute of Interior Design (PIID), Malaysian Society of Interior Design (MIID), Thai Interior Design Association (TIDA), Taiwan Interior Design Association (CSID), Japan Association of Interior Architects/Interior Designers (JID) and the companionship of brands: An Cuong, Blum, Minh Long, Net Interior, ...
