Monitoring land allocation, forest allocation, and payment for forest environmental services in Tuan Giao district

Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Giang Thi Hoa inspected the payment of public service provision services in Ta village community, Quai To commune.

The total number of forest owners who have opened accounts is 876/939 forest owners, reaching 93.29%; the number of forest owners who have not opened accounts is 63 forest owners.

Tuan Giao district proposed to amend the regulations on subjects assigned to forests and forestry land to be consistent with the historical reality of forest and forestry land management and use as well as the farming practices of the people. Quickly approve the adjustment of the planning of 3 types of forests until 2030 so that the district can effectively carry out the state management of land and forestry in the area. Propose that the province adjust the implementation time of Plan No. 2783/KH-UBND dated September 20, 2019 of the Provincial People's Committee and continue to allocate funds for land and forest allocation and issuance of forestry land use right certificates.

Representatives of Tuan Giao district leaders clarified a number of shortcomings and limitations in land allocation, forest allocation, issuance of land use right certificates and payment for forest environmental services.

Working Group No. 2 conducted a field survey on land and forest allocation, issuance of forestry land use right certificates, and payment for forest environmental services in the communes of Phinh Sang, Quai To, and Toa Tinh.
