During the period 2019 - 2023, Tuan Giao district paid 92.5 billion VND to nearly 1,000 forest owners, both individuals and communities; issued 672 forest environmental service payment handbooks, 157 forest area protection patrol handbooks providing forest environmental services to forest owners. The total number of forest owners who have opened accounts is 876/939 forest owners, reaching 93.29%; the number of forest owners who have not opened accounts is 63 forest owners.
Tuan Giao district proposed to amend the regulations on subjects assigned to forests and forestry land to be consistent with the historical reality of forest and forestry land management and use as well as the farming practices of the people. Working Group No. 2 conducted a field survey on land and forest allocation, issuance of forestry land use right certificates, and payment for forest environmental services in the communes of Phinh Sang, Quai To, and Toa Tinh.
