Press and propaganda meeting in July

On the afternoon of August 3, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department held a conference to review press and propaganda work in July and set propaganda directions for August.

In July, closely following the practical situation and key tasks of the province, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department directed, oriented, and guided information and propaganda work, comprehensively reflecting political tasks, socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, outstanding news in the province, in the country, and international situations of public interest.

Notably, the focus was on disseminating the implementation, summarizing and concluding resolutions, directives, conclusions and regulations of the Central and the province; focusing on documents of the mid-term Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee; newly issued documents of the Central Committee; the implementation of the 2023 Working Theme of the Provincial Party Committee "Maintaining discipline, enhancing responsibility, innovation, creativity, and practical effectiveness"; and the results of the 5th session of the 15th National Assembly .

Last month, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department advised the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee to organize a preliminary review of 5 years of implementing Resolution No. 35, dated October 22, 2018 of the 12th Politburo on strengthening the protection of the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile views in the new situation; advised Steering Committee 35 and the Provincial External Information Work Steering Committee to organize a preliminary review of activities in the first 6 months of the year, and deploy tasks for the last 6 months of 2023.

Closely following the province's political tasks and the direction and orientation of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and the Provincial Radio and Television Station, Ninh Binh Newspaper continues to have many news, articles and images, comprehensively reflecting the implementation of the province's political tasks.

Highlights include: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's visit and working session; the 14th Provincial Party Committee Conference; the organization of the mid-term review of district, city and provincial party committees; developments and results of the 15th session of the 15th Provincial People's Council and the mid-year session of the People's Councils of districts and cities; the International Conference "Promoting the value of UNESCO titles for sustainable development in Vietnam" held in Ninh Binh; the launching ceremony of the Provincial "Gratitude and Social Security" Fund in 2023 and mobilizing support for building solidarity houses for poor households in Dien Bien province...

Central press agencies continue to have many articles promoting the socio-economic development of the province. State management of the press is considered important.

The work of composing, propagating, promoting, organizing activities of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association, and the information and propaganda activities of the Propaganda Department have achieved many positive results, contributing to propagating and encouraging people of all walks of life to participate in patriotic emulation movements in the locality.

Regarding the propaganda orientation in the coming time, the leader of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department emphasized that the news agencies and newspapers in the province continue to propagate the implementation, preliminary and final reviews of the resolutions, directives, conclusions and regulations of the Central and the province. Organizing mid-term preliminary reviews of the implementation of the Resolution of the 22nd Provincial Party Congress; resolutions of the 5th Session of the 15th National Assembly; 15th Session of the 15th Provincial People's Council, especially resolutions that have great impacts on promoting socio-economic development, social security, related to people, businesses and organizations such as: policies on tourism development, agriculture, support for start-up loans for youth...

Focus on promoting the implementation of the policy of merging administrative units at district and commune levels, thereby contributing to creating high consensus in leadership, organization and implementation.
