The Provincial Military Command held a meeting with press agencies at the beginning of the Lunar New Year of the Snake 2025.

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025 (Year of the Snake), on the afternoon of February 10th, the Provincial Military Command organized a cordial meeting with central news agencies and press organizations, representatives and correspondents based in Thanh Hoa, and provincial press agencies.

Attending the meeting were representatives from the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; the Provincial People's Committee Office; the Department of Information and Communications; Thanh Hoa Newspaper, Thanh Hoa Radio and Television Station; the Provincial Journalists Association; members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Military Party Committee; and representatives and correspondents from central news agencies and press organizations based in Thanh Hoa.

In fulfilling the functions and tasks assigned by the Party, the State, and the military, the Provincial Military Command has always been proactive and creative in advising the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, and the Provincial People's Committee on the comprehensive and effective implementation of local military and national defense tasks; actively participating in disseminating information and mobilizing the people to comply with the Party's guidelines, policies, and the State's laws; participating in socio -economic development activities; national target programs; assisting the people in poverty alleviation; preventing, combating, and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters and epidemics... contributing to local stability and creating favorable conditions for the province's socio-economic development.

Colonel Ho Cong Linh, Editor-in-Chief of the 4th Military Region Newspaper, delivered a speech at the meeting.

For five consecutive years (from 2020 to 2024), the Provincial Military Command was honored to receive the emulation flag from the Prime Minister and the Ministry of National Defense; many subordinate agencies and units were commended by the 4th Military Region Command and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Speaking at the meeting, Colonel Vu Van Tung, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Commander of the Provincial Military Command, emphasized: The results of the 2024 tasks are the product of the efforts and dedication of the officers and soldiers of the Provincial Military Command and the attention of all levels and sectors, especially the close cooperation of the press agencies which have regularly coordinated in disseminating information and reflecting promptly and comprehensively all aspects of the activities of the provincial armed forces. This has significantly contributed to raising awareness, guiding the thoughts and opinions of officers, soldiers, and the people in the province regarding military and national defense tasks, widely spreading the image and qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers, and encouraging officers and soldiers to overcome all difficulties and strive to successfully complete all assigned tasks, worthy of being the core force and truly reliable force of the Party Committee, government, and people of all ethnic groups in the province.

In 2025, the task of building the army, strengthening national defense, and protecting the Fatherland presents new and higher demands. The Provincial Military Command hopes to receive even more heartfelt contributions and effective coordination from all levels and sectors; especially from central, military, regional, and local press agencies in coordinating the dissemination of information about military and national defense tasks.

Comrade Ngo Quang Tu, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Thanh Hoa Newspaper, delivered a speech at the meeting.

At the meeting, leaders of news agencies and media outlets assessed and proposed several points to further improve coordination in propaganda efforts in the future.

On this occasion, the Provincial Military Command awarded certificates of commendation to individuals for their outstanding achievements in coordinating the dissemination of military and national defense information in 2024.
