Police are investigating the case of a 10th-grade female student being assaulted by a group of people.

On the afternoon of December 11th, Mr. Luong Van Sinh, Principal of Thanh Hoa Vocational School of Commerce and Tourism (Quang Phu ward, Thanh Hoa province), confirmed that a 10th-grade female student at the school was assaulted by several classmates right in the classroom.

The incident occurred on December 9th. Due to a minor disagreement, NTYN (born in 2010), a 10th-grade student at Thanh Hoa Vocational School of Commerce and Tourism, was assaulted by a group of classmates named T., M., and L.

In the video showing female student N. being beaten, many classmates (both male and female) witnessed the incident but no one intervened; some even nonchalantly took out their phones to film the event.

According to Ms. Pham Thi Th. (Nam Sam Son ward, Thanh Hoa province), the victim's mother, N. was attacked by her classmates multiple times both inside and outside the classroom.

The family reported the incident to the Quang Phu ward authorities and took the child to the hospital for examination. Currently, N. is still in a state of fear and panic.

The principal of Thanh Hoa Vocational School of Commerce and Tourism, Mr. Luong Van Sinh, said: "Immediately after learning about the incident, the school sent the disciplinary committee to invite the parents of the students to a meeting to address the issue. At the same time, we requested the relatives of the female students to apologize to the family and take responsibility for N.'s medical expenses. Furthermore, the school will take measures to discipline all students to prevent similar incidents from happening again."

The police have also stepped in to investigate and handle the matter.
