Continue to expand the model of "Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful - Safe" residential areas throughout the province.

On the morning of December 12th, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee held a conference to summarize the implementation of the "Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful - Safe" residential area model for 2025.

The conference was attended by 200 delegates, including leaders of local Party committees and governments, Fatherland Front committees of the communes implementing the model; representatives of the Fatherland Front working committees, model management boards of the villages in the communes, and households participating in the model.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong, Vice Chairperson of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, delivered a speech at the conference.

Recognizing the importance of environmental criteria in building new rural areas, since 2020, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee has selected five residential areas in the province each year to serve as pilot sites for building model "Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful - Safe". In the selected residential areas, the Standing Committee of the Fatherland Front Committee of each commune has established a Steering Committee comprising the Party branch secretary, the head of the Fatherland Front working committee, the village head, representatives of mass organizations, village associations, and exemplary households in the village.

With the active participation of member organizations in the implementation, after 5 years of implementation, the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province has built and replicated more than 190 models of "Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful - Safe" residential areas; and nearly 220 models of self-governing residential areas for environmental protection. At the same time, it has mobilized the people to donate land and contribute labor to participate in building rural roads and public welfare facilities.

The Fatherland Front at all levels has mobilized the people to donate over 16.5 hectares of land to repair and build over 1,850 km of rural roads and construct welfare facilities; contributing over 243,000 man-days worth over 159 billion VND... contributing together with the Party committees and local authorities to complete the criteria for advanced new rural areas and model new rural areas.

The discussions at the conference highlighted the achievements as well as the difficulties and obstacles encountered during the implementation process; they also shared best practices, innovative approaches, practical experiences from localities and units, and proposals and recommendations for further expanding the model in the future.
