Accordingly, this project includes a 15.97 km long, double-circuit 110kV power line with 64 pole locations, using ACSR 300/39 conductors; connecting from the 220kV Bim Son - 110kV Nga Son power line at pole 65 to the 110kV Hau Loc 2 substation.

The Hau Loc 2 110kV substation is designed with a capacity of 2×40 MVA. Phase 1 involves the installation of a 40 MVA transformer, internally transferred; synchronizing the 110kV equipment system, line bays, transformer bays, busbars, and 35kV and 22kV medium-voltage switchgear. The substation's technical infrastructure meets the requirements for long-term expansion, enhanced connectivity, and reliable operation of the regional power grid.
Workers from the Thanh Hoa High-Voltage Grid Operation and Management Team are completing the final steps in the installation of equipment at the Hau Loc 2 110kV substation before energizing it.
Once operational, the project will ensure a stable power supply for the communes of Hau Loc, Trieu Loc, Dong Thanh, Hoa Loc, and Van Loc; meet the high power demand of the Lien Hoa Industrial Cluster (38 hectares, expected to require approximately 30 MVA in 2027) and the Hoa Loc Industrial Cluster; and simultaneously eliminate intermediate substations, completing the medium-voltage loop with the Hoang Hoa, Ha Trung, Nga Son, and Hau Loc substations.
Completing the energization in the last month of 2025 is of particular importance, enhancing the power supply capacity for the region, reducing the load on existing substations, and ensuring stable power supply during the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026.
