On the evening of November 16, the 66th Ramon Magsaysay Awards were presented to individuals and groups at the Metropolitan Theater in Manila, Philippines. Ms. Cecilia L. Lazaro, chairwoman of the Ramon Magsaysay Awards Board of Directors, delivered a speech honoring the individuals receiving this year's awards. Mr. Ramon B. Magsaysay Jr. (founder of the award, son of the 7th former President of the Republic of the Philippines Ramon del Fierro Magsaysay) presented the Ramon Magsaysay Awards to the five winners of this year's awards. Professor Nguyen Thi Ngoc Phuong is one of the five recipients of this year's awards. She was honored for her contributions to research to find out the truth about the devastation of Agent Orange/dioxin on human health. Professor Nguyen Thi Ngoc Phuong donates $50,000 bonus to Agent Orange victims
