Maintain the pioneering and core role on the Party's ideological front

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - After the merger in February 2025, the Thanh Hoa Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department quickly reorganized and consolidated its organizational structure. Immediately after that, the entire department united and made efforts to complete a large amount of work, contributing positively to the overall achievements of the province.

Propaganda and mass mobilization work is not only a basic content in Party building work but also plays an important role in all economic , cultural and social development policies, ensuring national defense and security. Therefore, in the first 6 months of 2025, the whole sector has clearly identified key and key issues, closely related to the province's development, to advise on effective organization. The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department has advised the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee to successfully organize major holidays and important historical events such as the 95th anniversary of the Party's founding, the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday, the 60th anniversary of Ham Rong victory, the 100th anniversary of Vietnam's revolutionary press day, etc. The whole sector has also advised Party committees at all levels to thoroughly grasp the directives, resolutions and conclusions of the Central and the province seriously, fully and promptly, with many innovations in the way of organizing study and propaganda, bringing the Party's resolutions deeply into life.

With the motto of "fast, sharp, practical, effective", the propaganda and mass mobilization sector has done a good job of grasping ideology and orienting public opinion. Through many forms such as monthly conferences on ideology and public opinion, through "hotlines", through a team of collaborators, through public opinion surveys... it has promptly reflected, advised, and proposed positive and effective solutions to Party committees at all levels. The coordination between levels and sectors in resolving and responding to public opinion has become increasingly close and in-depth, helping Party committees and authorities at all levels promptly direct the resolution of complex and sensitive issues, preventing the formation of "hot spots".

To cultivate the ideals and revolutionary ethics of cadres and party members, political theory education has been innovated in the direction of linking theory with practice. Training and updating new knowledge are regularly organized to improve the theoretical level and correct and firm political ideology for cadres and party members. In particular, to increase the pride of each cadre, party member and people, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department has compiled the book "Chronicles of historical events of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, period 2020-2025", at the same time directing and guiding localities and units to improve the work of compiling party history, traditional history of localities and units; actively participating in giving opinions on appraisal of books and documents of Party history of localities and units, helping cadres, party members and people to better understand the history of their locality.

Implementing the motto of "Innovation, creativity, closeness to the grassroots, practicality, efficiency, and timeliness", the entire sector has proactively implemented tasks, including many new, difficult, and urgent tasks, and extraordinary tasks assigned by the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and Party committees at all levels. Promoting the strength of propaganda work, the propaganda system from the province to the grassroots has skillfully combined many forms such as oral propaganda, agitation, visual, radio, television, printed newspapers, electronic newspapers, organizing cultural and artistic activities, and competitions. The propaganda content is concise, easy to remember, easy to understand, easy to implement, focusing on the organization of the political system to be streamlined, effective and efficient; on the arrangement of administrative units and the organization of 2-level local governments; on major holidays of the province and the country... Thanks to that, in the first 6 months of the year, although there were many tasks to be implemented related to the local government at 2 levels, the localities did not leave any areas or fields vacant, and did not interrupt work, especially in handling administrative procedures for people and businesses. Cultural and artistic activities were organized in a rich variety with many major events, not only meeting the requirements of political tasks but also leaving a good impression on the cultural and spiritual life of the people. Science and education work increasingly affirms its position and positive contributions to promoting the socio-economic development of the province.

With many creative ways, the mass mobilization work has achieved many encouraging results. In particular, the policy of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses according to Directive No. 42/CT-TTg of the Government and Directive No. 22/CT-TU of the Provincial Party Standing Committee has been widely and effectively implemented, becoming a material support and belief to help disadvantaged people rise up in life. Directive No. 24-CT/TU of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on mobilizing people to donate land to invest in renovating, upgrading and improving infrastructure, focusing on roads in rural and urban areas in the province in a synchronous and modern direction, has helped form spacious, clean and beautiful "roads 24", improving the lives of residential communities. Many projects on strengthening mass mobilization work in ethnic minority areas, religious areas... continue to be implemented, contributing to building a close relationship between the Party Committee, the government and the people to effectively carry out patriotic emulation movements. The model of "Friendly government, serving the people" has built the image of close, friendly officials and civil servants, winning the sympathy of many people.

In the current period of innovation, in addition to advantages, propaganda and mass mobilization work also faces many difficulties and challenges. To maintain the Party's ideological position, the propaganda and mass mobilization sector of Thanh Hoa continues to "choose the right job, determine the right role", clearly demonstrating the spirit of innovation, daring to think, daring to do, for the common development of the province.
