Go Dau: Donating TVs and 418 gifts to poor households in the district

Attending the event were Mr. Truong Nhat Quang - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee, Mr. Ho Duc Hai - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, and leaders of Go Dau district.

At the program, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district presented 32 televisions (worth 3 million VND/unit) to 32 poor and near-poor households who were supported to build and repair solidarity houses under the project to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the area.

Mr. Truong Nhat Quang - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee presented televisions to poor households in Go Dau area.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district also presented 78 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND, to households in difficult circumstances in Go Dau town. The remaining 340 gifts were given to communes to organize gifts for people in difficult circumstances in each commune.

The total amount of gifts is 305 million VND, taken from the Fund for the Poor of the province and district.
